▽ THE EVERYDAY PLASTIC MURAL

This photograph is a 1:1 depiction of one man’s plastic consumption over the  course of a single year.

It documents the 4490 individual pieces of plastic that Daniel Webb consumed in 2017. The commission to construct this image was used to launch the campaign charity Everyday Plastic.

It took a team of people to separate the plastic waste into various types, colours and  products, before arranging to the exact dimensions of a billboard. This arrangement was then photographed in 20 sections and digitally stitched  together by Massive Face post production house.

Finally the image was printed and installed on a billboard in Dreamland,  Margate in 2018.
