Over the past couple of months I’ve been watching a commission for Bow Arts taking shape, and last week the results are up. I can see them from my bedroom window which feels great, especially watching kids play football in the ball court, where the commission has been installed.
I shot a series of action shots of boys jumping, kicking a ball, dunking, running etc in a school just down the road, and passed the images on to be made into silhouettes. Then the images were projected and cut out onto boards and mounted in the newly built ball court in Leopold estate. I love the fact that they’re up while the school in the background of the image above is being demolished.
