The Balfron Project by Simon Terrill was a great success, with a large proportion of residents taking part in the shoot. It lasted an hour, and Simon limited his film to just 10 frames over the hour, coaxing expressive and thoughtful poses from the residents from the ground. After the shoot a fantastic curry was organised and a celebration in Balfron Social Club.
Simon is organising a show at the Nunnery due to open on the 6th Jan in which will show a time-lapse film made by Tim Bowditch, a slideshow with my take on the event, research by William Raban and of course, a huge and mesmerising photograph by Simon.
